Poetry – “a waste of paper” more like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Poetry is perhaps a little less fashionable than it used to be in days gone by.  To tell you the truth, I’ve never really been a great connoisseur of it myself.  Well, I guess that’s largely due to the fact that I don’t have the wherewithall to understand and appreciate its hidden depths.  However, with that said, I can perhaps try to change the habit of a lifetime and refine my appreciative abilities for poetry.   The currently elusive “Maurice J.” has repeatedly posted comments on Global Warming, skeptics forums challenging us with this very eloquent and concise beauty:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“When all the WATERMELON WARMERS admit their LIE
\nWe will raise a MONUMENT into the SKY
\nA MONUMENT of SOLID CARBON
\nTo commemorate their BOGUS BARGAIN.”<\/h4>\n
